Grrrrr Mac

Ugh, I'm on my stepmom's Mac right now... So no Wizards OR Skype for me. (well she has Skype installed but... I just don't wanna sign in :\)

ANNEHWAYYZ. I finally took a picture of my latest drawing of Alia with my iTouch, and... HERE IT IS!!!!

Isn't it totally EPIC??? Well, aside from the hand that looks like a lego person's, and the messed up sword, I think it's pretty good xD

I also wanna share this video for the people who aren't TRUE FANS of the LotusPetal and have not subscribed to me on Youtube. :P

You see, the other night over Skype, Amber, Mary, and David were talking about fruits or something. Idk. I recorded it and added it to Shugo Chara clips.

(and by the way, if you wanna know more about it and who the characters are, quit being stinkin' lazy and double-click it. :P) 
I guess that's all I've gotta share for now. I'm likely to have more news when I get my computer back tomorrow and I can FINALLY get on Wizards.

The Addict Gets a Makeover ;)

YES. I finally got to redecorating the WHOLE BLOG. And also, you may recall in that post, I said I would attend to it AFTER finishing the movie and the S.C. fanblog header.

The movie's cancelled. xD But I finished the header, and now It looks awesome!

Anyway, I got my own little custom domain, but you guys probably won't be able to see it until Tuesday. When I am 100 percent stinking sure everyone can see it, guess what I'm doing?

Sending it to Kingsisle. :P

Yes, last year, I sent in my blog hopefully twice before they changed the whole blogger thing. It. was a fail.

So, my blog isn't a free-made blog anymore, this blog has to have 10 bucks payed to it every year so that I can have a domain. So, that's not really FREE.

In other news, I'm working on a music video for Meikyuu Butterfly by Utau Hoshina from Shugo Chara. It's turning out SO EPIC currently. I would post a preview... But every time a post a preview of something, I forget the project for good for some reason. So... Yea.

I'm more than halfway done though! I'm almost done with the second part that goes MITSUMENAIDE TSUKAMAENAIDE! MAYOIKONDA, BATAFURAIIIIIII

Last night, we had a New Year's Party. IT WAS EPIC.

I won Best Blogger of the Year, and was tied with Amber for most random person because of my Ducky go Bye Bye post (xD) and I was tied with Mason for best wand. 

Also, we had some races and PvP matches. I was the judge for the PvP.

So, this guy Matthew and I believe Duncan were up against Mason and some guy named Kane. And Kane was dead, and Duncan was dead. So, Matthew was totally pwning Mason, and I said this.

xD I just had to post that here.

I got a Facebook at last, and my name is... ALIA LOTUSPETAL.


So far I've started playing Super Poke Pets and got a cat named Gypnervascotch (Gypsy, Minerva, and Butterscotch), I made a profile picture on picnik (lolz try saying that 5 times fast... PROFILE PICTURE ON PICNIK), and I threw a turkey at Donna. >:D


Oh, and I made a pretty decent intro for the movie...


Anyway, I ALSO FINISHED WATCHING SHUGO CHARA!!! YEA ALL 102 EPISODES!!!! I was SO happy when I did. It was AWESOME!


Now, I'm bored, so I might as well share this picture I drew.

Yeah... It's me in Shugo Chara version... And my Shugo Chara over there (who was kinda rushed) is Miksuu. I made this in like, what, 5 minutes? xD  I was bored so I just randomly drew this. THERE'S... THERE'S A POETRY EVENT????? (and Shugo Charaness)

OK OK OK. SO I JUST FOUND OUT THERE'S A POETRY THINGY ON WIZARD101'S FACEBOOK AND I'M TOTALLY ANXIOUS TO ENTER.


THERE'S JUST ONE PROBLEM.


MAH MOM WON'T LET ME HAVE A FACEBOOK FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS.


I mean REALLY. EVERYONE (that's an exaggeration, xD) AT MY SCHOOL HAS A STINKIN' FACEBOOK BUT ME. EVEN CHAD HAS ONE!!!! THE CHAD. HI CHAD!


So, what am I gonna do?


Turns out MY MOM has a Facebook, and I'm hoping that she'll be able to copy and paste the poem into the thing. I REALLY wanna enter this thing.

ANYWAY, I've gotten a lot of people to start watching Shugo Chara. Like, I got Mary to watch it, and I believe she got Amber to watch it. And then I got Donna to watch it, who got Jessica to watch it. Mary has beaten us all: she's watched the whole series! (not including Party... or at least not that I know of :|) I think I'm in second because I'm currently watching episode 81.

Lolz, so in the poll, YES is leading. And on the last post, Mary was saying, "MAKE THE BLOG, LADY!!!!" So, I think it's decided, I'm making a Shugo Chara fanblog.


I'm gonna take down the poll now, and begin working on my new blog!


I just reread the Manga, and it's double epicness now.


Oh, and just to let you know why I'm posting at 12:19 on a Monday, I overslept and my dad supposedly "forgot" about me, and I was still asleep, so I couldn't really get a ride to school, and my stepmom is asleep, so I get the day off, apparently.

I GOT THE MANGA! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

THAT'S RIGHT! I got volume one of the Shugo Chara manga and finished reading it. Let me just tell you: IT WAS SO AWESOME. It was like watching all the first episodes of Shugo Chara in 30 minutes!!! Now I FINALLY know one thing I want for Xmas: THE REST OF THE MANGA.


But then there's the other stuff I'd like from my other relatives. Like, last year for Xmas, my uncle Mikey got me FORTY BUCKS WORTH OF CROWNS. It would be AWESOME to get that again! Another thing I would also like to get: an iTunes gift card. More preferably, a 50 dollar one.


Now, I have some news. I will not be working on Rachel's video for a LONG while. Why? I'm bored of it. I've started a My Immortal video with both me and Rachel in it. It's gonna be SO MUCH FUN!


So... That's all for now. I'm going to watch some Shugo Chara AND play Wizard101. :D

Decisions decisions...

Ok, I WANNA START A SHUGO CHARA FANBLOG NOW.


But I'm a little skeptical about it. Why you may ask? I used to be in love with A:TLA. Loved it to DEATH. I even made a FANBLOG. But... It's dead. Never gonna be revived. I'm not exactly what you'd call an A:TLA FAN anymore. I don't really consider it "real anime." "Real anime" is usually a lot more interesting to me.


So I'm fearing that I MAY get tired of S.C... Mostly because of that dead blog. Well, A:TLA only had 61 episodes, and S.C. has like, 125 throughout all 3 seasons. So that's a much wider variety. So what do you think? I can even make my own header! IT'S GONNA BE SO AWESOME!


But I still don't know! I want it to be... You know... A long-term thing. I don't want to have it for like, 2 months and then ditch it for good. You guys need to help me out.


By the time you see this post, there will PROBABLY be a poll up asking what I should do. K? Every vote counts! :D

Ok, so, my laptop. I was making this intro. This same intro I'm about to send. Then, in the middle of it, that's when my computer was gone for good. Then when I got my new laptop, I collected the clips again, and remade the WHOLE thing within about half an hour. Yes, half an hour for 30 SECONDS.

YUP! I over exceeded my goal! Alia is LEVEL 57. I'm super confident I'll be 60 by Christmas now! If I level up once every week, which will probably be pretty easy, I can finally get to 60 in NO TIME! Oh, and at level 58, I get forest lord AND I can equip my collected level 58 gear: The Robe and Boots.

I believe that's all, I'm gonna watch some more Shugo Chara now! :D

Level 55, Shugo Chara, and Movie Making! (and a little warning for all Youtube Users... THX SAFFRON!)

Ok, so, I leveled up to level 55! don't you think that's awesome? I'm halfway there! (I have the whole entire week off this week :D)

And speaking of this week, I GOT MY NEW GLASSES! I've had the same purple Juicy Couture glasses since I started blogging. Now I've got new Juicy glasses: They're caramel brown! And they are SO CUTE! Best of all, I see the whole world clearer now. Those glasses have been with me for a long time now, but it's time to get new ones. I'm gonna keep my old glasses in a REALLY safe place. 

So, the other day, Mom asks me if I'm logged into gmail. This whole entire part totally distracts me from wizards. I assumed my mom was asking me to check my inbox, but apparently she was about to send something. I looked in my inbox, and saw one of my w101 friends that has a Youtube account, Saffron Lotusblood, had sent me an email. I clicked on it, and found something interesting. All you people with youtube accounts may wanna see this.

Saffron sent me an email saying she had just gotten a fake email, which had many spelling and grammar errors and couldn't possibly be real. I read the message, and was quite shocked at what a bad attempt this message was. Take a look:

Speaking of cats, lately, I've been obsessed with an Anime called Shugo Chara. SOOOOOO awesome. And the bad guy is SUPER hot. He's just like Prince Zuko except he doesn't have an ugly scar covering half of his face! *crazy fangirl scream*


Ok, anyway, I decided I might as well share some pictures of some Shugo Chara stuff.

That's Amu, the main character, and her Shugo Chara Transformations. (Shugo Chara means Guardian Character) The little tiny people that look like fairies are her Shugo Charas, and she has the ability to transform into all of them with her special Humpty Lock, a padlock necklace. Her Shugo Charas are basically who she wants to be!

These are all the Guardians. The Guardians are a group of people that have Shugo Charas. Amu  is one, too, though she doesn't wear the cape because it's "Not her style."

THIS is the super hot bad guy, Ikuto. He has a Shugo Chara too, which looks just like he looks now, just in chibi form. Yes, whenever he character transforms, he has a super cute cat tail and ears. Eventually he turns to the good side (Zuko AGAIN) and falls in love with Amu. Heh. Kinda like Zutara. Except ZUTARA NEVER HAPPENED!!!


Ok, now, I've had this idea for a while now. I wanna make a guide on how to create a really awesome WIZARD101 MUSIC VIDEO.


I've only completed one successful video, my Keep Holding On video, which would be a sort of-ish good example of a music video that says WOW.


Here, I may have not completed it, but I posted a preview of Rachel's video on Youtube. It's a pretty good example. If you're just beginning to make music videos, you can try Hypercam or Fraps. Fraps records MUCH higher quality. A good starter video making program is Windows Movie Maker, though Cyberlink PowerDirector has the same layout with more exciting effects and title styles.


The first thing: Don't stand in one place and say the lyrics. Don't stand in just one postion! Move around, run, spin, jump, do an emote, say a line during battle, or just capture some cool angles of yourself! Another bonus is to wear different outfits in the video. If it starts out slow, and turns into a really fast song, you can wear fancy clothes and once the fast part begins, you can change into some Dragonspyre clothes... Or whatever suits the mood of the song!


Second: Don't say too many lines in one scene. I always go with a small section of the line every time I record a clip.


Example, here's what I did with Keep Holding On.


Shot 1: You're not alone
Shot 2: Together We stand
Shot 3: I'll be by your side you know I'll take your hand


See? Even though it may take a while, a little hard work and some perseverance will get you there.

Third: Everyone loves effects and transitions.

I advise that you put transitions between every clip, because it makes the video flow along. Only when you truly feel it necessary should you not put any transition. You can also add effects to your video to WOW the person who's watching your video! If you're using Windows Movie Maker, let's say you're doing like, a hip hop song or something. A color spectrum effect, which makes your video all the colors of the rainbow in one effect will totally suit a clip or two! Or if you're doing a sad song, you can make the whole thing black and white/sepia. Moving effects that zoom or slide are also neat too!


And those are the basics. If you fit effects and outfits with the theme of the song, and try to make the video look exciting by not just standing around, you can make an awesome video in no time!
