Now, you see, the unicorn, as you can see, is a very awesome creature. Its horn is very, very valuable, and it can pwn most things in rare cases. These are just super awesome creatures.

INTRODUCTION TO UNICORNS
From the moment you being your wizarding quiz, you know that an adventure awaits. Within the Book of Secrets lies a question asking for your favorite animal. This is the first appearance of the Unicorn in the popular online game from Kingsisle. The unicorn in this very interesting game is white, with blue-green hair. Life students usually go for this choice on the quiz. Unicorns are a symbol of healing, so Life's most famous creature is a great healing spell for starter wizards. If you have been placed in the school of life, you will go on a unicorn adventure more amazing than in any other school! Congratulations! But the unicorn's appearances continue for all wizards.
THE UNICORN SPELL
When you first begin the tutorial, there are many different spells you cast. As you know, Wizard101 has attacks, a blade, and a healing spell to use in the tutorial. Without the healing spell, you'd DIE in that first battle! Ah, yes, it's true. The first healing spell anyone ever casts is the Unicorn. As you etch the Life symbol, sparks erupt as grass appears in the middle of the battle circle. Flowers scatter the patch of grass as a Unicorn appears right before your eyes! Its horn heals you greatly, and soon it disappears.

The adventure isn't over yet! The first street you begin quests on is known as UNICORN WAY. As the title states, Unicorns are scattered all over this park. Some wizards can even summon a Unicorn for a spell quest in Unicorn Way!* Unicorn Park greets you as you stare at a huge Unicorn Statue. You can gaze at it through the amazing pavilion, as well. No other street in Wizard City has such an amazing Pavilion! This street is Life Themed, because Unicorns are a renown symbol of Life. It's also the easiest street. The last boss on this street is known to drop a Unicorn Statue, just like the ones in the streets.
Later on, you discover the pet shop, where you can buy your very own Unicorn Pet! Most female wizards choose this as their first pet.
When a wizard is level 7, they can train their pet for the derby, and other things. BUT when you're level 7, you also learn a new spell. Life wizards are soon overjoyed for their spell quest! Moolinda Wu calls them over to the school of Life. Then, they must make a flute out of Blossom, the Life Tree's, branches. They must play it on Rainbow Bridge. A Seraph will teach the wizard a song on their flute, and they return to Moolinda. They are then awarded with the Unicorn Spell, the first Life School Only healing spell. (all wizards can get Pixie before that, Life gets a version called Fairy that heals more. Everyone gets something similar, so this is the first spell that Life only can get. It is also the first HEAL ALL FRIENDS spell Theurgists get.)
Later on in the Wizards world, they were advertised in Beckett's Fun Online Games magazine. It had a code inside for the FOG UNICORN PET. This pet is known to have the spell DARKWIND, so it's perfect for starter Diviners.
THEN, more recently, a Unicorn Mount was released! It looks just like the regular unicorn pet. It isn't very popular around, though, because it's very pricey.

*Unfortunately, the author of this series didn't know what spell was gotten from summoning that Unicorn. I still wonder how some wizards summon it... I've had a wizard of every school. (maybe they need to be a higher level?)

A PEGASUS!
Like, as a pet AND a mount! It could float, like a dragon. It would be like a combo of the Unicorn Mount and the Wing Mount. And the pet could float like a dragon, and have the appearance of a unicorn with wings!!! (but isn't that what a Pegasus is? xD)
