October the 5th, 2009.
Ah, what a wonderful day. I asked my mom for permission to do what I'd seen others were doing before, something big, something that could promote my fanfiction--something that could be fun. And she said yes.
On that wonderful day, I logged onto my Mom's computer, did what I needed to do, and then proceeded to play Wizard101.
On October the 5th, 2009, I created The Wizard101 Addict.
Yup, that's right--as of today, this blog is two years old--that's right, TWO YEARS OLD!
I've spent an absolutely wonderful two years in this amazing community. It's been the greatest ride of my life, and I have to say, out of everyone there is to thank--I'd like to thank my wonderful fans and followers, the ones who view my blog often, the ones who will read my posts from the title to "~The LotusPetal."All of you out there, all of you, I just want to thank you.
I'm not leaving anytime soon, that's for sure--but there's a downside to staying for a long time, I've discovered...
It hit me a while ago, when I realized my blog's birthday was coming up--The past two years, yes, I have made several friends over Wizard101--but several of them have quit. Several of them. It's kind of painful to see them all leave, but... Of course, eventually, all of us are going to leave soon, whether we like it or not.
But I promise you all, I won't be leaving anytime soon at all. Not at ALL.
You guys are just awesome. And I want to thank you for these two wonderful years I've spent blogging.
No, seriously--You guys are so awesome, I just can't find the right words to explain how thankful I am for all you guys. Ehe. Without all of you, I would have quit blogging LONG ago.
Sorry I haven't been active lately--after my birthday, which is in ten days, I'll make sure to start blogging a little more frequently.

I have that same problem. I while ago, I went through my list and removed everyone I hadn't seen online in a long time (and I mean at least for over a year). As it turned out, more than 3/4 of my list had stopped playing.
TWO YEARS!!!??? That's AWESOME!!! I should check how long my blog as been alive.....
"The Wizard101 Addict" was one of the first blogs I EVER first started following, even before I made my own. Seeing yours and others (actually mostly yours) made me want to start my own.
Just seemed like a thing to mention since we are celebrating a big old NUMBER TWO here. :) :)

Well, for one, like Alura said ^ HAPPY BLOGGIN'-CRAZY BIRTHDAY (Which, I guess was yesterday). Secondly, I'm one of your latest followers to join. (: yes, yay. :) I've read your stuff -- f a b u l o u s (I think I spelled that right) I'm a Wizard, too <3 but unfortunately, I'm one of the wizards who happened to quit. :'( and let me tell you, it's just as awful from this side of the quittin' event, and I can't even believe myself that I could quit like that and leave all my friends... (tears an' all, but I think I may just have to make a surprise visit at Thanksgiving) but I've been playing 3 years so I prefer to be "retired" which totally works. I find from just your blogs that you're crazy cool and I wish I could've been one of your wizard friends, but I quit so I saved the pain to be considered in the "several who've quit." So, anyway, I just thought I'd let you in on my story (a very, very small part 'cause I have such a crazy life there's too much to tell). I hope to hear more from you soon, of course, and if you have anytime in your wild sked of bloggin', feel free to hear a little of my story that I've started for my blog. (: Emmmmma
