Bloggers of the week (yes, I said bloggerS.) and.... HOW TO DO THE GRADIENT!!!! O::::::

Ok, so I haven't done a Blogger of the week in a while. But to catch up, I have quite a few I would love to recommend.

First up...

ELIZABETH SEACLOUD FROM MYTH HAS MIGHT!!!! *applause*

Elizabeth has just started her blog, and I personally think it's off to a good start. Keep up the good work, Elizabeth! And remember to follow her blog.

NEXT UP is.......

SARAH SPIRITHEART FROM TALES OF A THEURGIST!

Sarah's blog is new-ish, and I believe she has gotten the hang of blogging. It's pretty fun to read, so you should check it out sometime! Remember to follow!

AND LASTLY...

ALURA DUSKBLADE FROM THE DRAGONESS!

Alura's blog is pretty cool, and her drawings are pretty good too! And though her blog was only started in September, the widgets and layout give it that advanced sort of feel. Like the others, remember to follow her blog as well!

NOW.... WHAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR....

HOW TO DO THE GRADIENT EFFECT!!!!! O::::Here's a step-by-step guide to the gradient text effect:

1. Go to www.tektek.org/color/

2.Choose which direction you want your gradient to go in from the options on the left. You can choose a back and forth, a one-way, or even a rainbow gradient!

3.If you choose Rainbow, you can just skip this step. If you want Back and Forth or One-way, then follow this step. Underneath "Gradient Setup:" where it says "First Color:", click on the box beside it and choose your color! It's that simple! Do the same for "Second Color:".

4.Now, no matter what you've chosen, still follow this step. Enter your text into the text box.

5.BEFORE YOU CLICK GENERATE CODE, FOLLOW THIS STEP. After that, underneath the "Back and forth, One-way, Rainbow" will be a section called "Options:". First of all, if you feel like you want to, change the number of times it repeats. I recommend entering in a number that would agree more with the length of your text. Since this part is lengthy, I set it to "7." But anyway, there will be a box that says "HTML OUTPUT." CHECK THIS BOX. IF YOU DO NOT, THE WHOLE THING WILL NOT WORK!!!!

6.Now, click Generate Code. Where it says "Output Text:", a code should be in the box. Highlight the code and copy it.

7. Now, to put it in a blog post, you know the drill. Click "New Post" from your blogger menu. (which reminds me, you should look into using Blogger in draft instead of regular blogger. draft.blogger.com should work. Then if you want to keep it as your default dashboard, check the box that lets you in the top right corner.)After you've clicked "New Post," Click the tab above the text box that says "Edit HTML." You're going to paste that code into that section. To see how it looks, just click on "Compose" again! Isn't that super neat?

So there you have it! That's how you make the super awesome Gradient Effect. And I believe that's all I have to post about for today. Tomorrow, I'm going to post a little update on Rachel! :D
