A rather personal Talkative Time: Alia's Writing history

*sigh*

(I'm on a mac, can't post the finished vid, it's saved to my dad's vista)

Anyway, over the summer... I was dreaming one night... And I dreamt my first story idea.

I was obsessed with Wizards. I loved the Tale of Sierra Winterbreeze and a few other short stories, but I never thought of sending in a story. This dream started everything.

Penny Dreadful was in a "Necromancer's ONLY" club. All of a sudden, she got up on the stage, and pulled down her hood to reveal green hair. She yelled out "I'm actually LIFE!" And that's all I remember.

I'm bringing this story to life. I already started out of boredom IRL. And now, I guess I might as well type the first section of Part One.

My shoulder-length hair swung to the side, forcing me to pull my hood over it. As I squinted through the trees, I saw a streak of lightning illuminating the grey skies. Cursing under my breath, I ran off into the woodlands.
"Amy just HAD to lose me here." I thought. "It just HAD to start raining. I just HAD to lose my cell phone. And it HAD to be on a school field trip!" A huge gust of wind suddenly came my way, and my brown hair flew into my mouth. Wasn't I frustrated enough? I sputtered angrily, and ran into the big and hollow cave.
I couldn't have been crying. I never cry! I sat on a rock, wrapped my arms around my legs, and rocked (hahaha, get it, rocking on a rock?) back and forth. I ruefully bit my lip, tears beginning to flood out of my eyes.
Why? I had been scared of Storms ever since I was 2 (?). 9 years later, I still fear them. It mocks me. I had a deep interest in nature though. Maybe I could survive here. Maybe not. Would I be good at hunting? What about farming? Building? Would anyone in Indianapolis EVER find me? I sniffled slowly, closed my tear-bursting eyes, and simply and softly said:

"I want to go home."

All of a sudden, green, leafy sparks surrounded me. The strange designs had come out of nowhere! Scared out of my mind, I let out a final yelp before disappearing off the face of planet Earth.

*                *                *

Good? Not really good? Bad? Terrible? Suckish? AH MY EYES? *dies*? Simply just "THAT WAS SOME &@#$#% HORRIBLE %$@!!"? Comment on what you think!

So, um...

The Most Powerful Spells of all came up during the summer. *FLASHBACK*

"ALLIYAH ALLIYAH ALLIYAH (Yes, that is the real spelling of my name. Not telling my last name :P)!" Alex screamed, running up to me, just sitting peacefully on the couch. I moaned. "WHAT Alex?" I asked rudely. Alex, though, only 5, was still his cheerful self. "You know how you play Wizard101?" he asked. I nodded. I had told him about this game back in May. Meanwhile, I thought, "Of course. His brain is messed up at an early age, like mine was." "WELL YOU WANNA PLAY IT? LIKE, IN REAL LIFE?" he yelled. Our Aunt shushed Alex loudly. I sighed. "Sure. Let's give it a try."

It started out in the office, AKA the Astral School. I began orientation, where I put different darts into a pot. There were flying Unicorns, Dragons, and others. This was before mounts came out, OK? And I rode my Unicorn to Unicorn Park. Mary IceBlossom was there. She was talking with her friends, and then, out of nowhere, turned Alex into a rapidly mewing Ice Cat. "Get the heck outta here, LotusPetal." she said.

I had decided to finally send in a story. I decided on "Enclosed in Jades." It had the same characters, but Alia had a sword, enclosed in a case studded with Jades. This was for defeating Malistaire.

After seeing it hadn't gotten up, I was furious. "THEY PUT ALL OF THESE POEMS WITH THE WORST SPELLING EVER, BUT NOT MY STORY!?!?!?!" I was thinking. So, I deleted it from my "Sent" section in Gmail.

How the heck did I get the idea to try again? That one day had inspired me for one last try. If it didn't make it through, I would cancel my writing career forever.

After I sent it in, I realized it was better than the first. Then, checking Creative Writing, I didn't find The Most Powerful Spells of All. I saw ENCLOSED IN JADES.

Secretly, I decided to discontinue that. Because TMPSOA didn't get up, I decided to cancel my writing career forever. But, when I was checking back for another Sierra Winterbreeze, I noticed the title that looked very familiar, and I clicked on it, then gasped.

THE MOST POWERFUL SPELLS OF ALL.

A few parts later (6, I believe?) I had barely begun blogging. I checked back to the Creative Writing boards frequently. The new look had just been added. Then, I noticed, out of all of those names, only mine was a link. I clicked.

I saw Dark WolfHunter, Heather LegendHunter, Sierra WinterBreeze, and even Alia LotusPetal. Underneath my name was all of my TMPSOA parts. And then, reading the paragraph above, I realized I was one of those lucky 4 that had been a prolific writer. I was a featured author now, and this changed my writing career more than ever. To this very day, I still have the urge to write random, touching, and silly stories about my favorite game ever. Maybe I'll start a sequel...(THIS WILL BE REMOVED IN A RANDOM TIME: THE SEQUEL IS CALLED A GHOSTLY CHAPTER. IT IS ABOUT EMILY'S GHOST. ALIA FINDS EMILY'S OLD DIARY, BUT IT'S FILLED WITH SECRETS THAT MALISTAIRE'S GHOST CAN'T BEAR TO HAVE SEEN BY ANYONE ELSE. ALIA MUST FIND OUT WHAT THE HECK HE'S HIDING, AND WHY EMILY'S SOUL MAY BE REMOVED FROM NIGHTSIDE.)

IN CONCLUSION, WRITING IS SOMETHING THAT'S STARTED STICKING TO ME AND WILL ALWAYS STAY STICKEH!

THE LOTUSPETAL IS OUT!
